Preserving your safe comes first. I prioritize non-destructive opening above all else. If I can’t open it without causing damage, I stop. I won’t switch to drilling or other destructive methods.
Every safe presents a different challenge, so there’s no reliable way to predict how long an opening will take. I don’t charge by the hour. For work arranged directly with me, we’ll agree on a very reasonable flat price before I begin, covering the time and return visits needed.
If a locksmith arranges the work, that company handles pricing and billing.
The suspense should come from wondering what’s inside your safe, not wondering what’s on your bill!

I’m Rick, That Safecracker Guy. I’m a hobbyist with a passion for antique safes and the challenge of recovering forgotten combinations. To me, an old safe is more than a locked box. It’s something worth understanding and preserving.
I work patiently, without drilling or destructive shortcuts. If I can’t open your safe without causing damage, I stop. You stay in control of what happens next.

Preserving your safe comes first. I prioritize non-destructive opening above all else. If I can’t open your safe without damaging it, I stop. I won’t switch to drilling or other destructive methods.
Every safe presents a different challenge, and there’s no reliable way to predict how long an opening will take. For that reason, I don’t charge by the hour. We’ll discuss your situation and agree on an extremely reasonable price before I begin, so you won’t have to worry about an hourly bill climbing while I work.
